Welcome to our website, we are using this space to provide our latest update with what's going on, on and around the smallholding, our journey into this lifestyle started properly in 2005 which is documented in monthly (loosely that is!) updates. These started as e-mails to friends and colleagues...it has since grown to this "blog"ish website.
You can click the smallholding update you want to read from the left hand column, "Breeds of animal" will give you an understanding of the type of rare or traditional breeds of animal we keep on the smallholding.
The "Interesting recipes" is self explanatory, the "What's available" gives timescales of up and coming produce availability and who was quick enough to mail me to get it.
The workshop page is where you
can find information on a few one day workshops that we are running, to share
some of our experience gained over the last few years, Their are some of my
favourite websites on the links page.

News in brief!
Woo Hoo...I have finally managed to find some time to put together an update, this will bring you up to date with the happenings on our little piece of Lincolnshire.
The update was finished when we managed to capture Finley in the food cupboard, we thought you might enjoy this.
This is a look of WOW look at what I have done...and Oh No...I'm not supposed to be in the cupboard! Fantastic!
We would like to thank you all for your comments on our moment of TV fame...even the ribbing I got from the "Boys"...since then we have had a follow up piece done by our local newspaper "Fenland Citizen" Emma Mason (reporter) did a very nice piece which I have added to the "media page"
We hope you enjoy the latest update...please savour it slowly as I suspect the next one will be a while before it gets here!!!
